Rare cast bronze mail slot by Russell & Erwin in a rope weave pattern in very nice original condition . Patents for this design is typically 1887 . Measures 7-9/16″ x 2-1/2″ , Mail opening 1-3/16″ x 4-11/16″. Spring returns cover to closed position. Will supply bronze mounting screws.
