Rare ornate bronze thumb latch operated entry mortise lock by Russell & Erwin with Feb. 23 1868 Patent date in nice working condition. face plate measures 1″ x 4-11/16″. Back set for thumb mech. is a variable from 1-3/4″ to 2-3/4″ box recesses 3-3/4″.
