Description
Rare R&E Victorian circa 1890 hardware store display of a T handle door latch in excellent condition. Display stands 11-3/4″ tall . Wood is oak with board that latch is mounted on is 4-3/4″ wide x 1-5/8″ thick. Bronze locking bolt retracks nicly by turning handle and is signed Russell & Erwin MFG Co. New Britain Conn. Strike plate is mounted on opposite edge.
