Description
Rare circa 1875 bronze faced entry mortise lock by Sargent Hardware in nice working condition just needs a key. This mortise is thumb lever operated and would have had a large thumb latch handle on both sides of door. Face plate measures 1-3/8″ x 7-1/2″. Back set is 2-3/8″. Mortise has 1873 patent date.
