Description
Rare circa 1875 cast bronze off set entry mortise lock with keeper in nice condition and working condition. Face of mortise measures 1-1/8″ x 7-3/8″ off set is 1/2″. Back set is 3-1/8″ only one key opening for the dead bolt measures from center of spindle to key hole center 3-3/4″ . A key will need to be made .Takes a 1/4″ spindle , Mortise signed M & W Co. and with an early 1870’s patent date.
